摘要
为了减少地理信息系统中的数据量 ,提高数据精度 ,计算并分析了 5种正多边形等面积条件下 ,各周长值及它们之间的关系 .选用周长最短的正六边形作为栅格单元结构 ,可在相同面积、相同数据量的条件下提高数据精度 ,或在保证精度的条件下 ,减少数据量 ,从而可降低生产成本 .
The perimeter values of five regular polygons and the relations among them, under the condition of equal area, have been calculated and analysed in order to reduce the amount of data and heighten the data precision. This paper concludes that if the structure of mesh lattice units is formed in the shape of regular hexagon, the data precision can be raised under the condition of equal area and equal amount of data and, the data amount can be lessened under the condition of keeping equal precision, thus lowering down the productive cost.
