中医英译是一种跨语言、跨文化的交际,在此过程中如何翻译中医语言中所蕴含的文化因素,已成为中医英译研究的焦点。从关联理论的视角出发探讨了中医英译中如何阐释文化图式,译文如何更好地传递原文的文化内涵。指出了中医英译的双重交际的实质,指出译者需要把握好源语的文化因素才能进行文化暗含推理,从而选择合适的译文形式并使译文与原文达到最佳关联,以利于读者理解,保证中医英译交际的成功。

TCM translation is a kind of cross-language and cross-culture communication.It has always been the focus of TCM translation study that how to translate cultural elements contained in the TCM language.This paper presents how to interprete the cultural schema of TCM,how to better transfer the cultual connotation of target text in the translated text from the perspective of Relevance Theory.It points out the nature of TCM translation,that is the dual communication.In translating,translators should grasp well the cultual elements in order to infer the cultual implicature,and make the optimal relevance to the target text to facilitate readers＇ understanding of the utterance.
