For a long time,Shakespeare＇s plays have been adapted for films.Since the 1990s,film makers have adapted Shakespeare＇s plays for films by arrogating and subverting the original works.Hamlet 2000 is a case in point.This film which is enormously influenced by postmodernism reaches its audience.The research into the postmodern features of this film using Frederic Jameson＇s postmodern theory can reveal new characteristics of the films adapted from Shakespeare＇s works in this period.
