A Comparative Study on Education of European Knights and Japanese Samurai

西欧骑士和日本武士几乎同时于中世纪出现在世界的东西方,作为特定历史阶段奉行尚武精神的独特群体,二者在诸多方面存在相似之处。但是由于产生的历史背景、文化传统等方面的差异,二者又存在着一些不同之处。从骑士与武士产生的背景及发展概况等方面入手,探讨二者在教育方面的异同点,以期对这两种教育有更加清晰、深入的认识。

European knights and Japanese samurai appeared almost at the same time at the middle ages. As unique groups pursuing militancy at a particular stage of history, they have similarities in some aspects. However, because of different historical backgrounds and traditional cultures, there are many differences between these two groups. This article reviews the appearance backgrounds and other social conditions, and discusses the similarities and differences in education between European knights and Japanese samurai, in the hope of providing a clearer and deeper understanding of them.
