With close text reading and detailed analysis of the three writing strategies manifested in the parodied novel Foe, the paper ventures to expose Coetzee's unique post - colonial criticism approaches. The authorization of the female narrative voice has exposed the ideological coaspiracy that led to the lack or marginalization of female characters in colonial writings ; the adop- tion of post - modernism meta - fictional writing has further subverted the rationalization of colonial hegemony ; the employment of the intrusive narrator in the end has not only wisely shunned the writer from being the new narrative authoritarian, but also suggested a new path for future non - discriminative narrative writing.
