In light of the limitations of two-dimensional software in deepen steel-structure design, the paper introduces Xsteel design concept, compares the Xsteel and AutoCAD two-dimensional software, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of Xsteel in the drawing design. And then, it describes the matters needing attention in the application of Xsteel. Through the application of the software, it improves the speed and quality of deepen design.
