挑战天性──纽约现代博物馆99’住宅设计展侧记

GHALLENGING THE PRIVACY :A REPORT ON THE UN-PRVATE HOUSE DESIGN EXHIBITION IN THE NUSEUM OF MODERN ART NEWYORD1999

１９９９年７月至１０月，纽约现代律物得举办了题为“菲私密性住宅的专题展览、在来自世界各地的２６件参展作品中，既有出自享誉己久的大家之作也有不为我们所熟悉的青年建筑师颇具新意的设计。针对现代社会背景的急剧变迁，参展作品分别从不同的角度对住宅的“私密性”作出新的诠释有的设计注重室内空间的开放性和灵活性，以满足不同家庭类型的需要：另一些则刻意追求生活空间与办公空间的一体化：还有的将未来的住宅视为可以传播图像，声音、语言、数据、具有 可渗透性 的媒体，此次展出的作品反映出近年来社会文化验的基本变化，将影响未来世纪建筑文化的发展。

In foe Museum of Modern Art. New York. a design exhibition named 'The Un-Private House was held from July to October 1999. Among the twenty-six houses by an international roster of contemporary architects. some were designed by the worldwide known masters, while some others by the young designers whom we are not so familiar with, Responding to the dramatically changing social conditions. these designs reinterpret the traditional notion of private house from different point of views Some designs emphasize the open and flexible interior spaces' some de in scorch of the integration of living and working areas. so as to satisfy the needs of different kinds of families, and some others consider foe house for foe future as a permeable structure. receiving and transmitting image. sound language, and data, The private houses shown here reflect the fundamental changes of the social culture in recent years, and will lay the groundwork for the architectural culture of the next century.
