In case of unsatisfactory strip flatness, it happens that the turned-up head hits and breaks the top wiper at the exit of F7 and consequently causes the trouble. Due to the fact that it takes long time to remove the trouble and difficult to repair or change the wiper, the accident impairs the production and brings huge loss. The article clarifies how to solve the problem by improving the structure of the top guide plate with the wiper at the exit of FT.
