摘要
《儒林外史》中家庭家族叙写约占全书的四分之一,涵盖了中国传统社会中不同层类的家庭家族,包举各种家庭家族事务。其中家人族人的言行举止大多违背了家法族规,动摇了家族制度的基础,混乱了家族秩序,家族声望难以为继,而家族制度已经不能有效纠错以及维系基层社会的和谐稳定,其社会功能逐渐丧失。家族维系的民间社会已经衰乱与崩溃,和皇朝官府的衰乱与崩溃相辅相成。《儒林外史》,冷峻地写实,为后人剪留了专制皇朝自上而下全面衰崩的"盛世"投影。
A quarter of The Scholars narrated the life , the types and the affairs of family or clan. A number of family - clan men violated the family -clan laws and regulations . Because the family -clan system was disrupted , Its social function was gradually ineffective . Moreover , the nongovern- mental society , royal court and local authorities had been crumbling. The Scholars totally criticized the society of autocratic monarch by the realism .
