针对近年来国内学术界有些学者对我国现行民族政策提出的种种批评,甚至认为推出"第二代民族政策"的时机已到等观点,本文结合国际形势和国内民族政策实践的经验教训,从政治、经济、文化、社会等方面,阐明了新中国民族政策的合理性、正确性,指出了坚持和完善现行民族政策的重要性和必要性。

This article explains the rationality and correctness of Chinese ethnic policy according to the international situation and the experiences in practicing ethnic policy from politics,economic,cultural and social aspects facing against various criticisms to the current ethnic policy by some scholars in recent years.This article also points out the importance and necessity of sticking on and perfecting present ethnic policy.
