华池寨位于今甘肃省华池县林镇乡东华池村一带,是北宋西北沿边堡寨中地位特殊的一座堡寨。它是利用市镇所改建的一座堡寨,并且紧邻同名的一座市镇——华池镇。华池寨处于环庆路防线的最南端,甚至北宋西北防线的最南端,是环庆路整体防御体系甚至西北五路整体防御体系中极其重要的一个堡寨,同时也起到了为前线转运物资的作用。
