The Influences of Space Condition on the Agronomic Characters of Maize

摘要 1996年利用我国发射的返回式实验卫星搭载玉米种子 ,回收后田间种植观察 ,对其主要农艺性状的表现进行调查。结果表明 ,处理当代只有少数性状表现出变异 ,处理后的自交一代、自交二代在株高、穗位高、生育期、育性等方面表现出分离 ;且遗传基础复杂群体比纯系材料更易出现变异 ,这预示着太空处理可望在株高、穗位高。 Maize seeds were carried into space in 1996 by satellite. After returning back to the earth, the seeds were planted in field. Major agronomic characters were observed and examined. The results showed few variations were observed in sp 0 generation, and segregation characters about plant height, ear height, silling and male sterile were expressed in self-crossing sp 1, sp 2 generations. As compared with pure lines, the materials with widely genetic composition were more easy to mutant .These indicate that the treatment of space flight may provide abundant variation materials for maize breeding.
