Ideas and countermeasures of creating forest city in Yudong new district of Yulin City

森林是地球碳循环的重要载体,发展森林城市是增强城市碳汇能力、提高城市碳汇储备的重要途径。在分析玉林市玉东新区发展森林城市现状的基础上,提出以人为本、生态优先、统筹兼顾建设"森林玉东"的理念和发展思路及实施方式,以期为玉东新区城市森林建设提供借鉴。

Forest is usually considered as the important carrier of terrestrial carbon cycle. Developing forest city was the important way to enhance carbon accumulation capacity and reserve in city. Base on the background of developing forest city in Yudong new district, ideas and countermeasures of creating forest city were proposed, such as the people-oriented, ecology first and overall consid- eration, in order to provide reference for building the forest city of Yudong new district.
