论宗教因素对英汉翻译的影响及其对策

翻译是一种跨文化的交际,它不仅涉及语言的转换,而且涉及文化的转换。从根本上讲,它是一种文化交流。本文通过讨论阐述了文化与翻译之间的关系,着重论证了宗教文化在翻译过程中所产生的影响和作用,通过实例论述了翻译工作中应该充分考虑宗教文化的因素,指出应对英汉翻译宗教因素影响的策略。只有在了解和掌握了各自宗教等文化的特点后,准确理解原作的思想,才能有可能做好翻译。

Translation is a cross culture communication which not only involves the switch of languages, but also the switch of cultures. Basically it is a culture communication. This paper explains the relationship between culture and translation, and focuses on the influence and effect of religious culture in the process of translation. It puts forward some translation strategies of religious culture by discussing some examples. Only by understanding and mastering the respective characteristics of religious cultures, and fully understanding the original work can translators do a good job.
