A Corpus-Based Approach to Translation-Teaching:Taking the Comedy Skits Got the Money Anyway as an Example

语料库有着强大的检索、存储、对比等功能,其语料的丰富性、真实性、新颖性和开放性以及数据统计的直观性与精确性能突破传统翻译教学模式的不足,为翻译教学注入了新的活力,变传统的宣讲式教学模式为数据驱动的翻译教学模式,使翻译课程更富有时代的魅力,有助于提高翻译教学的效果,为翻译教学开拓了一个全新的视角。

Based on abundant, genuine, up- to- date language materials and advanced computer technolo- gy, corpus has powerful functions of data retrieval, storage and comparison. Therefore, it has broken the limita- tions of traditional translation - teaching model with directness, accuracy and visibility. It is a data - driven ap- proach instead of a spoon - feeding one. It improves the efficiency of teaching and offers us a new teaching per- spective. Taking the comedy skits Got the Money Anyway as an example, this paper attempts to apply the corpus -based approach to translation teaching.
