Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome （OSAS） is a sleep-related breathing disorder. A close rela- tionship has been found between OSAS and coronary heart disease. Ultrasonography can accurately reflect changes of the carotid artery structure and function, predict the occurrence and development of heart and eerebrovascular diseases, and provide reliable evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
