Tussah breeding research is the source of energy for whole tussah sericulture industry.Tussah breeding research plays very important role in the course of Chinese tussah sericulture development.The author summarized current technological progress of tussah breeding research and the importance of modern molecular biology for tussah breeding research.Meanwhile,the author suggested his own opinion on how to advance Chinese tussah breeding research.
