CAVE ARCHITECTURE IN NGARI In 1997,I had been working for two months in the Toling Monastery with experts from the Ngari cultural relics expedition team in the county of Drada. During this period,I was lucky enough to have a look at most of the famous sites in Ngari Prefecture. At the palace of Guge Kingdom in a common mound,I saw caves as plentiful as huckleberries.It can be imagined that not just a few,or even dozens...but hundreds of people have lived here in ancient times.I examined the
