关中等地富有特色的青龙节习俗

The Distinctive Green Dragon Festival Custom in Such Places as Central Shaanxi Area

关中一带的青龙节习俗特点主要表现为:一是很普遍地要吃炒熟或爆熟的玉米、大豆或面丁等,因为吃炒豆的习俗,当地也生发出一些有趣的传说;二是要剃头理发,因为当地有正月剃头会死舅舅的俗信,还有其他一些忌讳;三是因为旧时青龙节后,农事活动大张旗鼓地开展起来,于是,此日也有与农事有关的一些活动;四是关中民间又以是日为医药节,这是基于耀州孙思邈是全国人民崇敬的"药王"这一现象;五是关中西部还有"抬懒婆娘"等娱乐活动。

The features of the Green Dragon Festival custom mainly lie in the following. Firstly, the corn, soybean or dough cubes are to be sauteed or stir-fried, as there are some interesting legends about the custom of eating fried beans. Secondly, males are to have their hair cut this day, for there is the superstition that one＇ s uncle （mother＇ s brother） might die if a male gets his hair cut within the period of the first lunar month. Other taboos also exist. Thirdly, farming activities will start flamboyantly after this traditional Green Dragon Festival. Thus, there are events related to agriculture this day. Fourthly, this day is considered the day for medicine in the folk of central Shaanxi area, which is based on the phenomenon of Sun Simiao in Yao Zhou who was worshipped by people all over China. Fifthly, there are such recreational activities as ＂carrying the slovenly and sloppy wives＂ in the western part of central Shaanxi area.
