Popular television series Courtyard of Family Qiao and Xin An Family used the unique perspective on history and its narrative style to provide important references for the application of new historicist principles to the analysis of the historical drama text. This paper wifl start from the perspective of the New Historicism, and then analyze these two plays from the angles of the textuality of history, the historicity of texts, and the lowercase of history.
