翻译诗学对小说翻译的操纵——以《David Copperfield》两译本为例

Poetics of Manipulation to Novels Translation——Example of Two versions David Copperfield

"翻译诗学"这一抽象观念是译本比较的一个重要角度。而Lefevere翻译改写理论中的翻译诗学角度能够分析不同译本产生原因及其译者的翻译风格异同。分析并比较《大卫.科波菲尔》两个中文译本有助于阐明社会主流诗学对译本的影响和译者个人诗学操纵下产生的译本之间文本的差异。从描述性的分析结果来看,在不同主流诗学影响下,不同译者采取各自的翻译策略与方法译文使译文语言风格,注释表达,情节与人物刻画都存在相当大的差异,从而使更加理解在不同时代存在不同译文的原因。

＂ Translation poetics＂, as an abstract conception in translation research, is a key perspective to do comparative studies of versions. The translation poetics in the rewriting theory is able to analyze the cause of production of different versions as well as the different styles in them. It illuminated the two Chinese versions of David Copperfield, so as to the existed influences from the dominant poetics and the manipulative effects in contextual levels by individual poetics.
