2008年教育部《独立学院设置与管理办法》的发布解决了十年来一直困扰人们的理论与实践问题，使得独立学院的发展建设更加明晰。独立学院园林专业必须不断摸索，走差异化发展路子，重点发展园林规划设计，兼顾园林植物栽培与养护，逐渐形成自身的优势及特色。

The series of theoretical and practical problems which harasSed people for a 10 years was clarified with the publishing of＂setting and management method of the Independent Institute＂by Ministry of Education in 2008, and this also made the development prospects of the Independent Institute more clearly. In order to form its own advantages and characteristics, the Landscape Architecture in Independent Colleges must be constantly explored, take the difference of path of development, key development of landscape planning and design and take into account the garden plant cultivation and conservation for better development.
