符号的任意性与理据性是语言学界和哲学界的热点议题,至今仍未达成一致。本文试图从翻译的解码、编码过程中词汇理据消隐与重现侧面来浅探符号任意性与理据性的对立统一。

Tbe relationship between arbitrariness and motivation of signs has long been a focus in linguistics and philoso- phy fields, on which scholars did not have unanimous opinions. This thesis aims to explore the unity of two opposites, arbitrariness and motivation, by analyzing the suspension and recurrence of lexica] motivation during the translating process of decoding and encoding.
