A rose to Emily is one of the best short novels written by William Faulkner who stands out as one of the giants among American novelists. The novel is considered brilliant work for its vagarious conception and ambiguous subject. In this paper, the author trys to make a deep analysis of the novel from three different angles that are known as Realism, Psychoanalysis and Feminism. It aims to probe into the source of Emily＇s twisted character and her tragic life.
