后现代哲学视野下的语言研究和新观

New Approaches and Views on Language from the Perspective of Post-Modernist Philosophy

20世纪50-60年代西方哲学出现了"第四转向:后现代转向",为人类理解世界、认知自身开启了一个全新的窗口。本文认为"后现代哲学"与"体验哲学和认知语言学"互为照应、相互促发,提出了若干语言研究的新思路。笔者还基于后现代哲学,从社会和存在的角度阐述了四点语言新观:(1)语言是社会生产力;(2)语言是民族凝聚剂;(3)语言是知识储备库;(4)语言是人类存在的家园。这将有助于我们更好地认识语言未来研究的方向。

The Western philosophy saw ＂The 4th Turn： Postmodernist Turn＂ in 1950s-60s, which opens a brand-new window for the understanding of the world and human itself. ＂Postmodernism＂ and ＂Embodied Philosophy and Cognitive Linguistics＂ correspond to and develop with each other. Some new approaches to language research are proposed. Based on Postmodernism, the following four new views on language are explained from the perspective of society and existence： （1）language is productive power; （2）language is cohesive force for a nation; （3）language is a reservoir for knowledge; （4）language is the home for human existence. All these new approaches and views will help us to better understand the future direction for language research.
