摘要
"面子/face"是语用学、社会(心理学)以及人类学感兴趣的文化现象,而在认知社会语言学视角下结合特定的文化认知模式来探讨"面子/face"的概念特征及以此为理据的"面子"语言的变异性,还鲜有人尝试。本文将认知语言学基于体验性的"面子/face"认知研究深入到具体文化语境,通过探讨"面子/face"的文化认知模式并以此为理据来解释英汉语中"面子/face"同双及物构式的不同结合力造成的跨语言变异。
While the concept of ＂face＂ has long been a popular concern in studies of pragmatics, sociology, soeio- psychology and anthropology, research from a cognitive soeiolinguistic perspective is yet to be conducted to explicate this socio-culturally situated concept and the motivated linguistic structures. This paper attempts to go beyond the embodied cognitive theory and offer an interpretation of the difference of ＂mianzi/face＂ in fusion with the ditransitive construction in Chinese and English from a cultural cognitive perspective.
