To guarantee the information of the systems can be transferred effectively in the complex environment of shipyard,a wireless communication platform with the WiMAX technology was established.This technology can be widely used in data communications at shipyard,wireless communications inside a ship,block location assignment,real time logistics management,facility monitoring,working environment management and so on.This platform can improve the efficiency with lower cost.Compared with the cable networks,it has many advantages such as wide applied ranges,quick response,integrated information and convenient using.
