"处处"和"到处"是一组容易被混淆使用的统括性范围副词,从句法和语义表现上看,它们并不是完全一致的。"处处"的义项更多,句法功能也更丰富,"到处"使用的频率远远高于"处处",是"处处"的三倍之多。这与两个词对语体的选择有关,"处处"多用于书面语体,"到处"则广泛应用于口语和书面语体,同时也与两个词在历时层面发生的演化和分工有关。
chu chu（meaning everywhere） and dao chu（meaning everywhere） is a group of general adverb which is often easily misused.From the perspective of syntactic and semantic usage,they are not quite the same.Chu chu has more meanings and its syntactic function is richer.Dao chu is used three times more than chu chu.As for the selection of style,chu chu is used in written style while dao chu is used in oral and written style.This is related to the evolution and division of the two words at the historical level.
