Discussion on Determination of the Design Standards of NPP Dam in Shandong Haiyang

山东海阳核电厂规划建设容量为6×1000MWe级核电机组,并留有再扩建两台的可能性。厂区一次规划,分期建设。一期工程建设规模为2×1000MWe级核电机组。核电厂厂区标高和厂区护堤设计标准确定的合理与否,不仅可以节省大量资金,而且将直接影响到整个核电厂的工期,因此应该引起各方面重视。

Shandong Haiyang NPP has a plan of 6×1000MWe nuclear power units and 2×1000MWe potential units.Though the first-stage constructions only involve 2×1000MWe units,the plant areas layout consider 8×1000MWe units needs.The dam is designed for protecting the whole plant areas and blocking the invasion of sea water,which makes a direct impact on the NPP construction period as well as the investment.So,the determination of reasonable design standards of the site ground elevation and the dam should be emphasized.
