In the context of the financial crisis, the global political and economic pattern has changed dramatically. However, the US still remains the world＇s No. 1 superpower. The Obama Administration has introduced a series of reforms which include the de-liberalization of economic policy, de-Darwinism of social policy and de-unilateralism of foreign policy. Restricted by domestic conservative forces and other factors, the formation of a new American model is bound to be a long process.
