摘要
分析了离散余弦变换(DCT)的基本原理和特点,给出了用DCT实现图像压缩的具体方法和步骤,并对DCT的快速实现提出了算法和硬件上的改进.仿真结果表明:基于DCT的图像压缩算法具有简单高效的特点,可以实现不同压缩比下的图像压缩.
This paper analyzes the fundamental principles and characteristics of DCT,and gives the details of image compression based on DCT.For the fast implementation of DCT,some improvements of algorithm and hardware are proposed.The simulation results show that the image compression based on DCT is efficient and different compressive ratio can be obtained.
