皖北地区经济欠发达的原因分析——基于劳动生产率的分解

Analysis of the Causes of the Underdeveloped Areas in Northern Anhui——Based on the Decomposition of Labor Productivity

运用诺德豪斯指数分析工具实证研究了皖北地区18个县劳动生产率的收敛性问题,试图找出皖北地区经济欠发达的原因.结果显示:一方面,纯生产率效应在各县劳动生产率增长中起着决定性的作用;另一方面,劳动生产率差距拉大主要是纯生产率效应的配置格局演变导致的,包莫效应和丹尼森效应在决定劳动生产率演变方面起着辅助作用.由此得出农村剩余劳动力转移和招商引资力度不够、外资利用率较低是皖北地区经济欠发达的主要原因.

We try to find out the causes of the underdeveloped areas in northern Anhui.Based on Nordhaus index method,this paper studies the labor productivity convergence problem from 1996 to 2010 in 18 counties in Northern Anhui,with empirical method.The results show that pure productivity effect plays a decisive role in labor productivity growth.The gap of labor productivity is mainly due to the configuration of the pattern of evolution of the pure productivity effect.Baumol effect and Denison effect have supporting effect.The main reasons why Northern Anhui is less developed are the transfer of rural surplus labor and insufficient investment of foreign capital.
