Russia's “New Historian Event”:Origins,Social Repercussion and Essence

近年来俄罗斯与历史问题相关的事件频繁发生,2010年6月俄罗斯又出现了国家机构干预历史研究、把历史研究政治化的所谓的"新历史学家事件"或"教授事件"。该事件是2010年俄史学界的一件大事,引起了俄社会各界的不同反应。究该事件的本质,在于当前俄罗斯执政当局中有很多人主张进一步非斯大林化,许多俄罗斯人还保留有苏联时期的观念和行为方式,它也是俄国历史上长期存在的西方派和斯拉夫派争论在当今俄罗斯的延续。

In recent years, the events of historical matters took place frequently in Russia. In June 2010 occurred the event of Russia state organs intervening in historical studies and making historical studies politicized, which was called a ＂new historian event＂ or ＂professor event＂. This event was a matter of great importance in Russia＇s historical circle in 2010 and brought about different responses from all sectors of society. The nature of the event lay in the non-Stalinization advocated by the present Russian ruling authorities as well as the concepts and behavioral patterns in the Soviet time retained by many Russians. This was a continuity of the contention between the Westernizers and Slavophiles which have lasted for a long time in the history of Russia.
