吉林市地方性甲状腺肿及克汀病流行区儿童精神发育迟滞流行病学调查

Epidemiological survey on mental retardation children in an epidemic goiter and cretinism area in Jillin City

1988年5月在吉林市地甲肿流行区进行了儿童精神发育迟滞的流行病学调查,发现其患病率为8.1%;男女患病率无显著性差别;小年龄组患病率明显低于学龄组。本研究表明该地防治地甲肿地克病虽然取得显著效果。但值得重视的是儿童精神发育迟滞患病水平仍高于非流行地区。尤其是轻度精神发育迟滞者集中在学龄儿童组,应引起重视。

An epidemiological survey on mental retarded children was carried out in1988 in two representative valliges in an epidemic goiter and cretinism area of Jilin City wheresupplemental I-salt prophylactic intervention has performed successfully in a large scale since1972.This survey unclosed the prevalence rate of MR to be 8.10% in 683 aged 14 years andbelow from a population of 3224 in the two prophylactic villages,still much higher than thatin non-epidemic areas(0.53%-2.48%).Though the rate was found to rise with the age,4 se-vere MR,each with a clear hitory of physical risk factor explosed in perinatal period,focusedin the group aged 4 years and below while mild MR was predominant in the age range 7-14.Results indicate that the prophylactic approach to minimize MR must be a comprehensiveone,including perinatal health and continuous supplemental I intervention.
