Important Nonsense——Irony in the Early Wittgenstein's Philosophy

"重要的无意义"指明前期维特根斯坦哲学的这样一种临界特点:一方面,哲学命题没有意义;另一方面,它可以像一架梯子一样帮助人们"登上高处",从而"正确地看待世界"。本文选取"反讽"视角来解释前期维特根斯坦哲学的临界特点,分别从宗教命题的反讽和哲学活动的反讽两个方面阐述这种理解。按照这种理解,可以看到维特根斯坦所说的哲学活动与苏格拉底引产术之间的亲和关系,可以进一步把维特根斯坦的哲学和生存都理解为一种"重要而无意义"式的反讽。

＂Important Nonsense＂ indicates the feature of early Wittgenstein＇ s philosophy, which might be called ＂between the limita- tions＂. On the one hand, Wittgenstein asserts that philosophical propositions are nonsense; on the other hand, he thinks that they could be a ladder with which one can climb over. This paper interprets this feature from an ironical point of view, and elaborates these from both religious propositions and philosophical ones. According to this interpretation, we are likely to see the analogy between Wittgenstein and Socrates. Furthermore, we are able to regard Wittgenstein＇ s philosophy itself as an irony.
