Application of siemens PCS7 system in the actual tracking control of slitting double-side shears was introduced,the different conveying control systems when the billet was transported and cut were described briefly,and the relation between control modules were introduced in detail,at last,taking the calculation for the tail of broken edges as an example,the importance of tracking control in the actual application was explained.
