The Research of Trade Between Korean Envoys and Liaodong in Ming Dynasty

朝鲜使臣出使明朝,其中一项重要活动即从事贸易活动。明代朝鲜使臣与辽东贸易是朝鲜使臣赴明贸易中重要组成部分。辽东临近朝鲜,又是朝鲜使臣陆路朝贡的必经之路,明代朝鲜使臣与辽东贸易异常活跃。朝鲜使臣与明代辽东贸易大致可以分为两种类型:自由贸易和征索贸易。

When Korean Envoys paid tribute to Ming Dynasty, trade activities were one of the most important tasks of them. Liaodong region, closing to Korea, was the only way which must be passed for Korean envoys to pay tribute to Ming Dynasty by land route. Trades between Korean Envoys and Liaodong were very active then. Trades between them can be classified into two types： free trade and levied trade.
