摘要
《德伯维尔家的苔丝》中的苔丝·德北的悲剧命运构成了托玛斯·哈代小说的悲剧特色,也体现了他小说艺术创作的顶峰。苔丝·德北的悲剧命运,真实地反映了资本主义经济侵入农村后给个体农民带来的灾难,最后导致农民贫困破产的悲惨状况,控诉了资本主义制度、资产阶级传统道德、宗教思想和法律的罪恶,同时,造成苔丝悲剧命运的根源不仅有社会因素,还有自身性格的因素。本文从多角度透视苔丝·德北悲剧形成的根源,并通过对她性格的分析来寻找她艰辛的心路历程,体验她的感受,聆听她生命的悲歌。
The tragic fate of Tess Derby in Tess of the D＂ Urbervilles made up the tragedy charactensUcs oI Thomas Hardy＇ s novels, and reflected his aritic creation peak. Her tragic fate truly revealed the disaster brought about to farmers by the penetration of capitalist economy into rural areas, which finally caused farmers to go broke. The tragedy also denounced the capitalist system, conventional morality of the bourgeois, the evils of religious thought and law, in the meantime, the source causing Tess＇ tragic fate was not only due to social factors, but also due to her own personalities. This paper saw through the formation of the tragedy of Tess from many per- spectives, and sought for her hard mind adventures and experienced her feelings, listened to her life sad songs byanalyzing her personahties.
