A review of Bai Juyi＇s long and bumpy life together of his poems and chronicles reveals that the poet is deeply attached to Xuzhou,which he visited eight times.As the poet＇s second home town,Spots like Swallow House and Zhu Chen Village are well known for their connection with the poet.The poet＇s lingering and travelling in Xuzhou is critical to his life,leaving important influence on his poetic creation.
