Language is the carrier of culture,and culture has an essential bearing upon communication.Allusions are also a kind of cutural phenomenon and the concentrated essence of language.Chinese and English allusions contain abundant contents,profound significance and strong national features.In order to strengthen the communication and comprehension between Chinese and the west,the cutural deposits should be fully explored,and cultural transmission should be highlighted in the study of Chinese and English allusions.
