语言石化视阈下成人英语教学矛盾与对策研究

Study of the Contradictions in Adult English Teaching from the Perspective of Language Fossilization and Countermeasures

英语是提升职场竞争力的重要因素,但是成人英语学习效果却长期不佳,石化现象凸显。目前,成人英语教学存在社会需求与教育资源、学习目的与教育本质、学习投入与学习效果、成人认知特点与语言习得规律之间各种易导致语言石化并阻碍成人学生成功习得英语的矛盾因素,因此要尽量避免成人学生学习英语出现石化现象,尊重语言习得规律,推动成人成功习得英语。

English is essential in elevating the competitiveness in career,but adults have yielded poor effect in learning English for a long time and the fossilization is a prominent phemoninon for them.Nowadays,the contradictions between the social needs and education resources,learning objectives and nature of education,learning investment and learning effect,characteristics of adult recognition and principles of language acquisition are all hindering the adult students from English aquisiton.Thus,in order to avoid the fossilization in the process of adult students＇ learning English,the principles of language acquisitions should be followed to successfully impel the adult students to acquire English.
