武士道作为武家文化的核心内容,既是幕府时代统治阶级的政治意识形态和主流地位的思想文化,又是日本民族文化的重要组成部份,涵盖了伦理文化、军事文化和政治文化。要弄清武士道的真实面貌和本质,武士道的伦理道德、战争精神和统治思想缺一不可。日本学者新渡户稻造理想化的武士道主要是伦理道德范畴的武士道,特别是从者对主君的道德规范和行为准则,而非完整的武士道。

As the core content of military family culture,Bushido was the political ideology of the ruling class and the dominant ideology and culture in Shogunate Period.Besides,it is an important part of Japanese culture,covering the ethical culture,military culture and political culture.To find the nature and essence of Bushido,its ethics,war spirit and ruling ideology are indispensable.The idealized Bushido put forward by Nitobe Inazo,Japanese scholar,is a kind of Bushido mainly related to the ethical aspect,especially its moral standard and the code of conduct of master-servant relationship.It is not the whole Bushido.
