在中国历史上,封建时代的农民起义常常与宗教、迷信联系在一起,它们带着宗教或迷信的面具出现,并以秘密结社的形式来组织和发动。造成这一现象的原因是多方面的,主要应从封建制度下农民阶级本身的特点,宗教在封建时代农民心目中的位置,封建统治者对待宗教的态度和政策,以及宗教本身在意识形态领域所占据的特殊位置等方面去破解其原因。拜上帝会在太平天国运动中的作用和影响比较典型,结合此次农民起义探讨宗教在农民运动中的作用。

In the history of China,peasant rising was often related with religion and superstition and it bore the mask in the form of secret groups to wage.The causes of this phenomenon are many,of which the peasant characteristics are the most important.Religion which was in a high position in the hearts of peasants,attitudes and policies which rulers adopted and the ideologies are the causes.Because the influence and function of the Congregation of the Worshipper of God on the Taiping Rebellion are typical,what parts religion played in the peasant rising was discussed.
