网络使用研究进展——影响因素、后果变量及影响机制

Current Directions on Internet Use:Antecedents,Outcome Variables,and Influencing Mechanism

近年来,网络使用方面的研究受到越来越多的重视。社交焦虑、人格因素、自尊及社会支持会影响到个体的网络使用,而网络使用会对个体的孤独感、抑郁、生活满意度及认知方式等产生影响。在网络使用的后果变量方面,以往研究结论存在诸多不一致,说明网络使用对个体的影响可能受制于某些中介变量或调节变量,未来研究需考察验证这些可能存在的中介或调节机制,深化对网络使用方面的了解。

The antecedents and outcome variables of Internet use have attracted growing attention from researchers with the rapid development of Internet.Social anxiety,personality variables,self-esteem,and social support were found to have influence on individuals＇ Internet use.Internet use was shown to impact on individuals＇ depression,loneliness,life satisfaction,cognition style,and their interpersonal relationship.An inspection on literature reveals that the no consistent conclusions have been made regarding the influence of Internet use on individuals＇ psychological variables,indicating that the relationship between Internet use and outcome variables might be mediated or moderated by some variables such as online self-disclosure,Internet use purpose,age,gender,Internet communication type,et al.Therefore,researchers should explore these possible mechanisms in future studies to have a better understanding in the area of Internet use.
