摘要
本文根据接受美学理论对文学翻译过程进行考察,从译者和译文读者的角度出发,分析了接受者对翻译活动的影响和作用,并讨论了翻译过程中语言和文化的接受性问题。指出受传统文艺美学理论影响的传统译论忽视了译者和译文读者在翻译过程中的积极的、能动的参与和创造作用,把原作文本和译作文本看成是孤立静止的自足客体,企图使译文“再现”原文,“等值”于原文,这无疑使传统译论失之片面,某种程度上也误导了翻译实践。本文通过对传统译论的考察剖析,得出了几点启示。
The present paper proposes on the basis of modem Reception Aesthetics that the active interpretation of the original text and translated version by translators and target language readers in the course of communication and dialogue with them definitely affects the process and result of translation practice. It also reveals the one-sided emphasis on the creation text of the traditional translation theories originated from the traditional literary theories, which leads to a dream of the exact equivalence between the text and the translated version, and misleads the translation practice by neglecting the participation of translators and target language readers. Some attentions concerning translation studies and practice are suggested in the end of the paper.
