公示语对社会行为的规范、人际关系的调节与生产力的提高等方面起着重要作用,分为指示性公示语、提示性公示语、限制性公示语和强制性公示语。立足于汉语公示语的英译现状,遵循交际翻译理论浅谈公示语翻译。
Public signs play significant roles in regulating social behavior, adjusting individual relationship, enhancing productivity and some other social aspects. The function of public signs is to direct, prompt, restrict, and compel the public. Based on the situation of Chinese-English translation of public signs, the communicative translation theory will be applied to analyze the Chinese-English translation in the article
