Complex two-dimensional drawings and three-dimensional model can be easily created using AutoCAD and Inventor software, these graphics are inserted into PowerPoint to make the multimedia courseware, and it can improve teaching effect. In this paper, the different methods of inserting plane graphics and three-dimensional model into PowerPoint are introduced in detail. The merits and drawbacks are compared between the different methods, and this can provide the reference for making the PowerPoint multimedia courseware.
