Semantic Categories Viewed from the Angle of Prototype Theory

典型理论基于人类对客观世界的经验和观察并对范畴的划分和性质提供了全新的视角和方法 ,目前已成为国内外语言学研究的热点。本文立足于典型理论的基本观点 ,分析和探讨了语义范畴的典型性、相似性和模糊性 ,从认知、哲学、语用等角度论证了它们的客观存在并指出它们分别是语义范畴的认知实际 。

The prototype theory, in conformity with the human's experience and perception of the objective world, provides new perspectives and methods for categorization and now it has become a focus in linguistic research both at home and abroad. Based on the main principles of the theory, the paper discusses prototypicalness, family resemblance and fuzziness of the semantic categories, proving their being from the angle of cognition, philosophy and pragmatics and pointing out that they are respectively cognitive reality, intrinsic mechanism and objective characteristics of the semantic categories.
