摘要
人文主义教学法在强调认知的同时, 也关注学习者的情感需求和情商的发展, 把学生当作有智力和情感需求的完整的人来对待。阐发人文主义教学理论的内涵, 论述采用人文主义教学法的必要性及应注意的问题, 从中可以看出, 人文主义教学法并非跟当今外语教学的主流不合拍, 相反, 却给外语教学带来了许多有益的启示。
According to Humanistic Language Teaching Approach, we should pay attention to language learners emotional needs and the development of their emotional intelligence while attaching importance to cognition. Language learners should be treated as“a whole person” with both intellect and emotional needs. First the paper discusses the central concepts and issues regarding Humanistic Approach. Then it considers the necessity of adopting such an approach and points out some misunderstandings about this approach. From the account, we can learn that Humanistic Language Teaching Approach keeps pace with the mainstream of foreign language teaching, and it gives plenty of beneficial implications to foreign language teaching.
