实施“走出去”战略，鼓励和支持有条件的地勘单位、矿业企业和科研机构，按照地质工作规律和国际通行规则开展境外地质调查和矿产资源勘查工作，是我国地质矿产领域对外合作新阶段的重大战略举措。越来越多的中国企业走出国门，融入了全球经济体系，不论是国有企业，还是私有企业所面临的风险将会成倍增加，更不必说风险本来就很高的地质勘查行业。本文通过总结老挝国华潘省桑怒铁矿普查工作的实际经验，结合目前海外地质勘查的所面临的实际问题，分析中国企业在海外地质矿产勘查项目中可能遇到的风险并提出风险规避方法。
